Bleacher Nation Fantasy Plays — In Week 8 of the 2024 NFL Season, the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams will clash on Thursday Night Football. Despite their strong start, the Vikings (5-1) are coming off a close loss to the Lions. Meanwhile, the Rams (2-4), are looking to build on a recent win against the Raiders. And that brings us to the point of today’s article: Bleacher Nation Fantasy Plays.
Every Thursday, I’ll break down my favorite Bleacher Nation Fantasy Plays for that night’s game.
What’s Bleacher Nation Fantasy?
Bleacher Nation Fantasy is the newest real-money fantasy game on the market, and also the easiest for players to win real money! Last Thursday, players won at over an 80% clip. And now, they have both NFL and NBA contests to play. Their main game mode, Rivals, is all matchup-based, which is what we’ll focus on here. And the best part? It’s extremely simple. Without parlaying anything at all, you can choose who will have more receptions between Cooper Kupp or Justin Jefferson (plus 60-80 other matchups just like that!).
With that in mind, let’s dive into my favorite picks at Bleacher Nation Fantasy in what should be a high-scoring matchup, as reflected by the 48-point game total.

Cooper Kupp +14 receiving yards vs Justin Jefferson
After missing four games with an ankle injury, Cooper Kupp is back in action for the first time since Week 2. After practicing in full, we can expect Kupp to see his regular workload. And that’s why I’m taking him in this particular Rival Matchup on Bleacher Nation Fantasy.
Let’s not forget that the Rams’ star wideout was peppered with 21 targets against the Lions in Week 1. It’s also worth noting that we saw the Vikings get gashed in the slot last week against Detroit, where Amon-Ra St. Brown put up 112 yards.
While Justin Jefferson is in a great spot as well, the key here is the +14 handicap we get with Kupp, who should smash in this matchup on Thursday Night Football.
If we compare their numbers to sportsbooks, we see that Kupp is mostly listed at 69.5, while Jefferson is at 82.5, so we get a reasonable number here at +14.
Jordan Addison to have more receiving yards than Tutu Atwell
Jordan Addison is in a good spot vs a Rams defense that has allowed 7.89 yards per target to receivers this year, which ranks 19th in the NFL.
As a deep threat with an 18.0 average depth of target, Addison can make a big play downfield in this projected high-scoring game environment.
On top of that, Tutu Atwell is sure to see a decrease in target share with Cooper Kupp and Jordan Whittington back in the lineup.
Atwell was an afterthought in the Rams offense with Kupp playing, so I expect that to be the case once again now that the veteran is back in action.
