Falcons Take on the Vikings
The Vikings (10-2) host the Falcons (6-6) in a game where both teams need wins for their playoff standing. Although the Vikings are 10-2, they trail the 12-1 Lions in the NFC North and they will need to keep winning to set up a crucial matchup with the Lions in week 18. The Falcons are 6-6 and hold the tiebreaker over the Bucs (6-6) in the NFC South as they have already beaten them twice. Atlanta has dropped 3 in a row and needs to get things going if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Seahawks Face Cardinals
The NFC West race is an odd one as the Seahawks (7-5) hold a lead over the Cardinals (6-6) while the Rams (6-6) and 49ers (5-7) are lurking close by. The Seahawks have won three games in a row including a victory over the Cardinals and a win today would be a huge victory in terms of playoff tiebreakers for the division title. The Cards are in a bit of a funk as they have dropped two games in a row including a tough late-game loss to the Vikings 23-22 last week.
Chargers Visit Chiefs on SNF
Sunday Night Football should be a fun one as the Chargers (8-4) visit the Chiefs (11-1) for an AFC West clash. While the Chargers might not catch the Chiefs in the division, they can keep a hold on the number 5 spot in the playoffs as they are just ahead of the Ravens (8-5) and Broncos (8-5) in the AFC. The Chiefs are a game up on the Bills for the top seed and a first-round bye but the Bills hold a tiebreaker over KC. It has been a season of wild games for the Chiefs. Will we see that once again on Sunday night?
