Chiefs Looking for Three-Peat
The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to do something that has never been done in NFL history. With a win in Super Bowl 59, they would become the first franchise ever to win three Super Bowls in a row. The Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII two years ago before beating the 49ers 25-22 in OT in Super Bowl LVIII last season.
The Chiefs took down the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in a wild AFC Championship Game that vaulted Kansas City into its fifth Super Bowl in the last six years. The Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2019 by beating the 49ers 31-20 and lost in the big game the following year 31-9 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Eagles Looking for Revenge
The Eagles are back in the Super Bowl for the second time in the last three seasons. They were beaten by the Chiefs 38-35 thanks to a Harrison Butker game-winning field goal in Super Bowl LVII. Now, the Eagles look for revenge and to add a second Super Bowl title to their franchise’s long history. The Eagles won Super Bowl LII to conclude the 2017 season as they took down Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 41-33 for the franchise’s first Lombardi Trophy.
Jalen Hurts was great in Super Bowl LVII when the Eagles were just short as he had 4 total touchdowns. He has since paired up with Saquon Barkley (2,005 rush yards in 2024) to create one of the most dynamic backfields in the league. It should be a fun matchup this year.
