The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers both have 5 Super Bowl wins but neither team has won since the mid-1990s. A former Houston reached the Super Bowl in 1999 as the Tennessee Titans lost to the St. Louis Rams as Kevin Dyson was 1-yard short of tying the game. The Jaguars reached the AFC Championship game in 1996, 1999, and 2017 but couldn’t advance to the Super Bowl. Houston has never played in an AFC Championship.
The Browns have 8 NFL Championships but haven’t reached the big game in the Super Bowl era. Cleveland has reached the AFC Championship game 5 times with appearances in 1968, 1969, 1986, 1987, and 1989.
