Masters Online Betting Guide: Odds, Promos, Picks

Sports Betting

Betting The Masters is a tradition unlike any other, but this year the tradition has a twist as the prestigious tournament comes to Augusta National in the fall. Certainly, the 2020 Masters will have a different feel, but what won’t be different from a year ago is that betting action should be substantial. With The Masters arriving seven months after its originally scheduled date, let’s waste no more time in jumping into our guide on Masters online betting guide.

DraftKings Sportsbook is all-in for one of the best weekends on the 2020 sports calendar, making it one of the best Masters betting apps. While The 2020 Masters figures to offer plenty of unpredictable moments, most experts believe it’s a certainty that DeChambeau will make the cut. That’s relevant because DraftKings is giving new players the chance to bet on that happening at +100 odds, boosted all the way from -1115. Typically, a bettor would have to wager $557.50 to win $50 on DeChambeau to make the cut. However, with this offer, bettors can risk $50 at +100 odds to earn the same payout.

DraftKings also offers $100 of risk-free betting this Sunday. Wager on any Sunday event (including pre-tournament outcomes and NFL Week 10 games) and get up to $100 in credit if your wagers total a net negative.

2020 Masters Picks

Obviously, all eyes will be on the likes of DeChambeau and 2019 winner Tiger Woods, but our pick to win this year’s Masters looks elsewhere.

Patrick Cantlay (+2800)

The best payout on Patrick Cantlay comes at both DraftKings and PointsBet, and there’s a lot to like about his chances this weekend.

Cantlay has shown that he has the tools to succeed at Augusta. Last year, he held a one-stroke Sunday lead on the 16th hole, but he would go on to bogey both 16 and 17 on his way to a ninth-place finish. Cantlay shot up the leaderboard thanks to a remarkable third-round 64, a score one shot off the course record. He followed it with a 68 Sunday, but it wasn’t meant to be as he stumbled late.

Cantlay is currently playing good golf, winning the Zozo Championship in October. In our view, there’s big value here at +2800.

Paul Casey (+8000)

Paul Casey probably won’t win this year’s tournament, but he’s our long shot pick. We like him at +8000 odds with PointsBet and DraftKings. Casey is a veteran player who knows the course and typically plays well at Augusta. In fact, in 12 career starts at Augusta, Casey has finished in the Top 10 five different times. Given his familiarity with the course and consistency, there could be some value here.
