Bears vs. Vikings Line: Chicago Is an Underdog in Must-Win Game
The Bears saved their season yesterday – at least for now, and if your focus is “playoffs at any cost” – with a blowout win over the Texans. Now, the Bears turn their attention to a critical Week 15 showdown with the Vikings. Both teams enter with matching 6-7 records and likely must win out in order to reach the postseason. With an opportunity to even their record at the .500 mark and set up a pair of meaningful games against the Jaguars and Packers over the season’s final two weeks, the Bears head to Minnesota as an underdog. Let’s size this one up with a closer look at the Bears vs. Vikings line, odds, and total.
The Bears vs. Vikings line shows Minnesota is a 3.5-point home favorite. The game total is 46.5 points. The Bears are a +150 moneyline underdog, while the Vikings moneyline is priced at -182.
Illinois bettors who jumped on the Bears as a short home underdog last week cashed in on a romp. It was the Bears’ first win in 56 days and it came in what was arguably the team’s most complete effort of the season.
Meanwhile, the Vikings fell at Tampa Bay in a game that would have been much closer had it not been for four missed kicks by Dan Bailey. It would be surprising if the Vikings didn’t make a change at the kicking position ahead of this contest. Despite a disappointing day for the Vikings against the Bucs, they still enter this week favored by more than a field goal over the Bears.

Bears vs. Vikings Line
Here is the current Bears-Vikings line, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Bears | +10 (-110) | +400 | O 47.5 |
Saints | -10 (-110) | -500 | U 47.5 |
Spread
As of early Monday morning, the Bears vs. Vikings spread has Minnesota favored by 3.5 points, and that sounds about right. Despite yesterday’s tough loss, the Vikings have won four of their last six games and won the first meeting between these two teams at Soldier Field by a 19-13 final last month. Unsurprisingly, oddsmakers at sportsbooks such as William Hill are giving a slight nod to the home team.
Remarkably, the Bears are underdogs for the 11th time in 13 games this season. Both Chicago and Minnesota are 6-7 ATS overall.
Moneyline
The Vikings are -182 on the moneyline. The Bears moneyline is priced at +150.
It’s hard to know what to expect from either of these two teams. They had been trending in opposite directions prior to yesterday, but they had very different outcomes in Week 14.
Bears vs. Vikings Over/Under Odds
The over-under for the Bears and Vikings Week 15 game is 46.5 at PointsBet.
Of note, the over is just 5-8 in Bears games this season. The under hit in the Bears latest matchup, despite Chicago putting up a season-best 36 points. Meanwhile, the over has cashed in 8 of the Vikings’ 13 games.
Where Is the Money Going?
The early-week money is on Chicago. Currently, 47% of point spread wagers back the Bears, but so does 88% of the money.
