The Blue Jackets head into this contest playing their third game in the last four nights, fresh off a 3-2 shootout win at home against Florida. Columbus is 1-3 on the road, and has lost five of their last seven meetings against Chicago.

Kevin Lankinen gets the start for the Blackhawks, with his counterpart for Columbus being Joonas Korpisalo. These two were childhood friends growing up in Finland.
