Bulls vs. Nets Betting Prediction (April 4, 2021)
The Bulls are returning home after going 0-4 on a road trip, but the news isn’t great for Chicago fans. They have to play the Nets, the best team in the Eastern Conference, before embarking on a five-game road trip. Take a look at our Bulls vs. Nets betting preview, complete with the best odds, picks, and predictions.
Bulls vs. Nets Betting Preview
If there was ever a bad matchup for the Bulls, this is it. The Nets are one of the hottest teams in the NBA and that’s because James Harden and Kyrie Irving are playing some of the best basketball of their careers. Harden will miss this game with hamstring tightness, but slowing down this Brooklyn attack still won’t be an easy task.

If the Bulls are going to pull off the upset, they are going to need big games from Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. The two All-Stars are supposed to be leading Chicago into the playoff hunt, but they are winless in four games with Vucevic.

Bets We Like With A Bulls Win
Nikola Vucevic Over 21.5 Points (-106)
The Nets are still trying to figure out exactly what they have at center. DeAndre Jordan is a reliable defender and rebounder who can play the five spot, but the Nets have turned to the recently-signed LaMarcus Aldridge, who offers more offensive production from the position.
If Vucevic is matched up with Aldridge for large parts of this game, he should be able to have his way. He’s a far more creative and athletic point at this stage in their careers. If the Nets decide to go small with Jeff Green, Blake Griffin, or Bruce Brown, Vucevic can try and play bully ball inside. Either way, we like Vuc to go over on his points.

First Half Nets -1.5 (-115)
The Bulls have had serious issues in first halves during this losing streak. They have been losing at the half in each of their last four games and it’s likely that this trend continues against Brooklyn. Without James Harden or Kevin Durant, the offensive burden will fall on Kyrie Irving’s shoulders, but he’s been up to the task all year long.
If the Nets are going to add to this Chicago losing streak, they are going to need to come out strong in the first half. This is a reasonable spread to cover for Brooklyn.

Bulls vs. Nets Prediction, Pick
We know there is no Harden or Durant for the Nets, but they are playing at a much higher level than the Bulls regardless. Chicago is going to have a tough time slowing down Irving as the Nets cover this spread.
Pick: Nets -3.5
