Trevor Lawrence over 251.5 passing yards
The last team these two teams met, the Jaguars were yet to hit their offensive stride and Lawrence still passed for 259 yards.
The Jaguars have since started playing a lot better offensively and Lawrence will likely have to throw as much as possible to keep up with the Chiefs’ high-scoring offense.
Christian Kirk over 66.5 receiving yards
Kirk racked up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 9 receptions the last time these teams met and still has the best matchup.
The Chiefs played a ton of man coverage against the Jaguars last time around and Kirk has proven to be the best pass-catcher against man coverage. He has gone over this number in 10-of-18 games this season but given the plus matchup, the over is a good addition.
Juju Smith Schuster 70+ receiving yards
You could take the over on the regular line of 51.5 receiving yards but I love Juju’s potential for a big game here.
Slot receivers have been destroying the Jaguars all season long including big games from Amon Ra St Brown who had 144 yards on 12 receptions and CeeDee Lamb with 126 yards on 7 receptions.
The last time these two teams played, Juju didn’t play his full allotment of snaps due to injury, with just 14 routes run and a 38% snap rate. Even on extremely limited work, he saw four targets, catching two of them for 33 yards.
With a full complement of snaps and a great matchup in a playoff game, I expect Juju to have a big game here.
Patrick Mahomes over 315.5 passing yards
Mahomes threw for 330 passing yards last time against the Jaguars and now has a fully healthy Juju Smith-Schuster, Kadarius Toney more integrated into the offense, and Jerick Mckinnon playing a big role out of the backfield.
The Jaguars are 30th in pass defense efficiency and Mahomes has had a week off to prepare. I expect a pass-centric game plan.
Travis Kelce over 81.5 receiving yards
The Jaguars have gotten burned by tight ends this season and rank dead last at efficiency defending tight ends. If we expect Mahomes to throw a lot, Kelce figures to be a big part of that in a great matchup.
