The Daytona 500 is in the books, and it’s time to shop some Pala Casino 400 best bets. Nascar is headed to Fontana, California. We’re at Auto Club Speedway for the last race on it’s 2-mile configuration with the green flag scheduled to drop at 3:30 PM et on FOX.
California’s own Kyle Larson took home the checkered last year. And in doing so, became just the 2nd active driver with multiple wins at Auto Club Speedway.
Before the starting grid is determined I wanted to do some race odds shopping. Here are a couple of my favorite to bet before we know where everyone is starting the race.

Pala Casino 400 Odds: Early Auto Club Speedway Bets
I’m always shopping for numbers I like and found two I’m locking in before the starting grid is set.
Winner of Stage 1 Wins race – Yes +650 (Caesars) Bet .3u to win 1.95u
Early speed and track position has been critical here at Auto Club for some time. The driver leading the most laps has finished 3rd or better in 8 of the last 10 here. Since we started stage racing in 2017, track position and speed has been even more telling.
Four of the last five winners all led the most laps and won stage 1. And if it wasn’t for a blown tire on lap 151, Tyler Reddick probably makes it five straight. Four of five isn’t a coincidence and the odds are big enough to warrant a small play.

Joey Logano Top 5 +180 (DraftKings) Bet 2u to win 3.6u
If you’re familiar with my Nascar takes you know how painful this one is for me. If not, I’ll just say, Joey Logano and I have not been compatible at the betting window. All that aside, his history at Auto Club and recent performances on similar tracks are too good to ignore.
The defending Nascar Cup Series champ has been a machine in Fontana. Joey has only one finish worse than 7th over since 2015 and that was 12th in 2020. His 5.7 average finish here over those seven races is tops among all drivers. And this is literally his team’s track as Roger Panske built Auto Club Speedway.
