Tetsuto Yamada is a 24-year-old slugger who is currently helping lead Team Japan through the World Baseball Classic.

Those homers came in today’s 8-5 Team Japan win over Team Cuba, in which Yamada drove in three runs.

There’s so much balance and torque there. You’d think there would also be a lot of swing and miss, but his strikeout rate in Japan has never been particularly egregious.
Either way, he’s been a heck of a lot of fun to watch in the WBC.
