Earlier this month, Madonna – yeah, like the Madonna – posted a call-to-action on Twitter, asking for her fans to submit videos of themselves dancing for a chance to be her next trainer!

The Rules are pretty simple. In order to win (basically), you need to submit a 60-second video of your best dancing and fitness workouts and post it to some sort of social media using the hashtags #DanceOn and #MadonnaChallenge.
But because everyone is a fan of Madonna – including Chicago Cubs World Series Manager Joe Maddon – there’s a hilarious baseball connection.

Indeed, the Cubs manager nominated his strength and conditioning coach Tim Buss – who is a ridiculous goofball, himself – to be Madonna’s new trainer.
Hey @Madonna, we have your trainer!

If you couldn’t tell from the video … Buss is more of a “Do as I say, not as I do,” style trainer:

But surprisingly enough, Madonna’s camp caught wind of Maddon’s nomination of Buss, and responded with the photoshop job of the week:
@Cubs @CubsJoeMadd Thank you for your submission – Chicago Cubs -it takes a big man to fill this cone bra♥️ @danceon #MadonnaChallenge #Cubs pic.twitter.com/rFE8loQ6ox

The Cubs, naturally, experienced the same emotions we all did:

I’m not 100% positive that Buss has what it takes to lead Madonna into the next chapter of her career, but boy-oh-boy would I love to watch him try.
Oh and by the way, if you can’t place that song in the Cubs’ video (or have never heard it before) … you’re welcome:
Key and Peele also did an amazing spoof on the now-famous video:
