The Chicago Bears didn’t rule anyone out or questionable on their Friday injury report, but inside linebacker Danny Trevathan missed practice yet again and is one of five players listed as questionable for Sunday.
Trevathan is joined by tight end Dion Sims and right guard Kyle Long as starters listed as questionable. At least Long practiced, albeit in a limited capacity. But neither Sims nor Trevathan participated in practice in the week leading up to Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
It would put a damper on the Bears’ chances at starting the second half with a win if either player was to miss Sunday’s game.
Sims and Trevathan were joined by cornerback Bryce Callahan, offensive lineman Tom Compton, special teams ace Sherrick McManis, and defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris as players who did not participate in practice at all this week.
McManis has been out since leaving the team’s Week 6 win against the Baltimore Ravens with a hamstring injury. Robertson-Harris suffered a hamstring injury of his own a week later in the Bears’ win against the Carolina Panthers.
The Packers enter Sunday’s game as underdogs and fighting the injury bug in a way that might make the Bears blush. But I have a feeling the team that enters the game healthier has the best shot at winning.
