I love you all for your generosity to an incredible cause. And now I’ll try to pay you back with great, voluminous content, and also the slow decay of my psyche.
Thanks to the donations you’ve made to Make-A-Wish, I will be blogging/tweeting/video’ing/whatevering for 40 straight hours, starting bright and early tomorrow morning at 6am CT, on through the MLB non-waiver trade deadline the next day, and on through Tuesday night’s Cubs game. It should be a fun and engaging 40 hours – especially the wee overnight hours, and me trying to cover the game in hours 38, 39, and 40! – and I’ll try to keep things informative and fun for folks.
And, of course, donations to Make-A-Wish are still encouraged and welcome, even after we’ve reached our goal of $12,000 (which is TWO whole wishes granted). They do incredible work, serving children and their families, enriching the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Thank you all so much for supporting a great cause … and let’s have some fun tomorrow morning. And tomorrow afternoon. And tomorrow night. And the next morning. And the next afternoon. And the next night.
