Let’s be honest with each other. Bears fans don’t often agree on too much these days. But one thing I think we can all agree with is the idea that Chicago has been lacking an edge along the offensive line.
This isn’t to say the group doesn’t have talent. Charles Leno Jr. and Cody Whitehair have Pro Bowl recognition under their belts. James Daniels has been solid since his rookie season. Even Alex Bars and Sam Mustipher have shown they can provide depth in a pinch. HOWEVER … the Bears line has been lacking a certain edge.
Teven Jenkins is here to bring that back:

Teven Jenkins (Ok. State OT #73) is one of the best finishers I’ve seen.
This isn’t even one of his best reps and he neutralizes 2 defenders with little help from the guard. pic.twitter.com/FPthCPw3UR

Teven Jenkins is a junkyard dog, really physical in the run game.
He was also dominant in pass protection against some really good pass-rushers (e.g. Joseph Ossai).

Studying Oklahoma St OT Teven Jenkins. Big fan of his effort/power to finish! pic.twitter.com/1PUH1z0dF7

There’s a certain level of nasty in Jenkins’ game. And I can’t wait to see him unleash it on the rest of the league. Opposing defenders have no idea what’s about to hit them!
