The gang is at full strength going into the 203rd installment of Bears-Packers.
Allen Robinson II is *IN* for this afternoon’s rivalry grudge match. Robinson was questionable to play today because an ankle issue kept him out of two practices, then limited his activities when he was able to return on Friday. The Bears could use a breakout performance from Robinson, who has yet to register a 100-yard receiving game. For what it’s worth, Robinson put up a pair of 100-yard receiving games against the Packers in 2019. But those are the only two such occasions for Robinson putting up those numbers in the six times he has played them while with the Bears. Today feels like a good day for a third.
So is Akiem Hicks, whose groin injury kept him out of last week’s win against the Raiders. There wasn’t much participation for Hicks in practice this week. Perhaps that was done in order to get Hicks as close to 100 percent for game day. No one is certain how much Hicks will play, but that he is suiting up for action is a wonderful sign.
Khalil Mack will also suit up for the Bears. Mack has 5 sacks, 5 tackles-for-loss, and 6 QB Hits in his last four games. Registering at least one sack today would keep a nice active streak going for the fearsome pass-rusher. But why stop at one? Dream the biggest dreams. Reach for the moon. And if you can’t get it, it’s OK because you’ll land among the stars.
As for today’s inactive players:
