That ball went 414 feet, which, yes, Coors, but it was opposite field, and I’m not even sure he really got all of it. Javier Baez has crazy power.
What a way to introduce himself to baseball, eh? A 1-6 night with three strikeouts (all swinging), but three hard-hit balls, one of which wound up being the game-winning home run in extra innings. I’m not sure you could dream up a more perfectly Javier Baez way to start off his big league career.
