Round 1, Pick 20: OT Amarius Mims, Georgia

Amarius Mims demonstrates exceptional awareness on the field, particularly in identifying and neutralizing pass-rush schemes. His agility allows him to swiftly engage and control edge rushers, minimizing the quarterback’s vulnerability. Mims’ hand strength and arm length provide a formidable barrier against defenders, ensuring consistent protection. In the run game, he exhibits explosive power off the line, though refining his footwork could enhance his effectiveness. Despite limited starting experience, Mims shows immense potential and versatility, with the capacity to anchor both left and right tackle positions. With further development, he could evolve into a cornerstone offensive tackle, ideally suited for zone-blocking schemes.

Round 2, Pick 51: C Zach Frazier, West Virginia

Zach Frazier, a consistent presence on West Virginia’s offensive line, has shown versatility by transitioning from left guard to center during his college career. He excels as a run blocker, utilizing his low center of gravity and strong hand technique to control defenders effectively. However, his athleticism is average, limiting his effectiveness in space and on moving targets. In pass protection, Frazier demonstrates intelligence and awareness, but his lack of length and quickness can leave him vulnerable against certain matchups. While possessing starter-level traits, his potential is likely limited due to his athleticism and length constraints.

Round 3, Pick 84: WR Jamari Thrash, Louisville

Jamari Thrash quickly established himself as a reliable target at Louisville, showcasing fluid route-running and excellent ball-tracking skills. His versatility allows him to excel against different coverages, using various releases and tempo changes. While effective in the middle of the field, his downfield speed and ability to catch away from his body are concerns. Nonetheless, he shines as a slot receiver with his route-running and intelligence.

Round 3, Pick 98: CB Cam Hart, Notre Dame

Cam Hart is a versatile corner who excels in both man and zone coverage. He has fluid athleticism and an explosive burst. In man coverage, he displays strong footwork and positioning, able to shadow receivers and break up passes effectively. In zone, he covers ground quickly and demonstrates good hands for interceptions. However, he occasionally struggles with confidence when his back is turned and needs to better utilize his length against the run. Overall, Hart is a skilled defender with refined techniques and athleticism.

Round 4, Pick 119: EDGE Javon Solomon, Troy

Solomon’s athletic ability should make him (at worst) a rotational pass rusher at the NFL level. He has a great first step off the ball and his change of direction gives bigger offensive tackles problems. Like Paul, he made significant progress in 2023, going from a player who won with size and athleticism to a more refined product, which led to an FBS-best 16 sacks last season.

Round 6, Pick 178: S James Williams, Miami

Williams is a physical safety with athleticism and cover skills but struggles with coverage assignments. He shows potential to tighten up against tight ends in man coverage but may need time to develop. With his traits and playing demeanor, he could fit as a box safety or nickel linebacker after further refinement.

Round 6, Pick 195: WR Casey Washington, Illinois

A fifth-year senior with ideal height and weight, versatile in playing both the outside Z spot and slot positions. Known for his intelligence in route running, with excellent change of direction and stop-start ability. Shows deceptive releases and keen awareness in finding openings in zone coverage. Primarily targets short and intermediate routes, using his quickness to gain separation and turn short receptions into big gains. Displays strong ball skills and competitiveness in contested catch situations. While his production has been modest, his 2023 season showed potential for increased impact in a pass-heavy offense. Needs to contribute more on special teams to secure early playing time at the next level.
