Spring Training in 2015 was unkind to Toronto Blue Jays righty Marcus Stroman. The youngster looked ready to break out and lead the Blue Jays throughout the season after a fantastic debut in 2014.
Unfortunately, Stroman tore his ACL during a fielding drill, and missed most of the 2015 season. Shame on you, Spring Training.
Today, Stroman took the mound again as Spring Training games got underway, and now the shame is on Stroman … because this is just unkind to do to a hitter when he hasn’t faced in-game pitching yet:
Oh, @MStrooo6. That is cold. #SpringTraining pic.twitter.com/wq5xTrdjZG

Stroman pitched a couple innings, giving up a few hits and two earned runs today. But whatever. He’s healthy and doing nasty things. That’s all that matters right now.
