High Schooler Steals Home Sliding Through Teammate’s Legs
We write-up a lot of incredible plays here at Baseball is Fun, but the most dynamic baseball highlight, in my opinion, has always been the straight steal of home.
It’s probably one of the rarest plays you’ll ever see, because it’s one of the riskiest and one of the most difficult to pull off. Er, well, it’s supposed to be difficult to pull off, at least. High schooler Graham Tews doesn’t seem to think so. In fact, he steals home in style, sliding right through his teammates legs as he awaits the pitch at the plate.

I must be crazy, but sliding through the batter’s legs seems like a pretty great idea, actually – you just gotta make sure he knows what’s coming. With a h/t to ESPN and Cut4, I regret to inform you that was the only run Tews’ team scored that day, as they lost 6-1.
But I don’t know, I think that should be worth more than one run, right?
