St. Louis Cardinals righty Adam Wainwright is, primarily, a pitcher. The 35-year-old has pitched 1768.1 innings in the big leagues over 12 seasons, posting a career 3.17 ERA.
Secondarily, you could probably just say that Wainwright is a baseball player. He is excellent defensively, and his career .201/.228/.306 batting line is fairly strong for a pitcher.
Thirdly, you’d have to say that Wainwright is a performer. Wherever, whenever. For example, he is no stranger to busting out a new dance move in the dugout:

And he sings, too.
Taylor Swift songs.
In the shower. For all to see:
Yep, @UncleCharlie50 is getting ready for his #BLISingOff on 1-16! Will you be there? https://t.co/PooZzVmcyi pic.twitter.com/C3FsqklDZO

See? Pro ballplayers. They’re just like us! You’ve done it. You know you’ve done it. You just didn’t record it and tweet it.
Wainwright had a good reason for doing it, though, as it’s part of his Big League Impact charity karaoke event in St. Louis. Good man showing off his singing chops for a good cause.
