More Intentional Walk Shenanigans: The Fake Walk, Strikeout

Now that baseball no longer uses the four pitch intentional walk – a new signal was agreed upon last winter to save time and improve the pace-of-play – we’ll forever be robbed of intentional-walk shenanigans like actually pumping a strike right down the pipe.

Take a look at working twice …

… And the ensuing look of disbelief and dread on the batters’ faces:

As a batter, if you have two strikes, you just *have* to be ready for this, no matter who you are. And think about how great lining one right back up the middle would feel if an opposing pitcher tried to play this one on you.
