When the Bears signed quarterback Chase Daniel to a two-year/$10M contract earlier this year, they thought they were getting a veteran backup with potentially intimate knowledge of the offense Matt Nagy and company intends on running for franchise QB Mitch Trubisky.
But what they actually got was a master of disguise.
Watch and laugh as Chase Daniel goes undercover at Bears camp, sneaking his way to the front of the autograph line to snag signatures from some of his favorite Bears … er, teammates:
Best way to go undercover in front of your own teammates at #BearsCamp?

Absolutely hilarious. You can tell some guys are suspicious and some guys straight up call him out, but a few had no idea even looked somewhat annoyed that a full grown, 31-year-old man is blocking kids from getting autographs. But also … dang, he did pretty well for himself.
Maybe I need to grab a bucket hat and join Luis on his next trip down to Bourbonnais, eh?
