• People will tell you everything you need to know if you just listen to them. So while there’s much hand-wringing about Matt Nagy playing coy regarding who is calling plays on MNF, I find it interesting how dismissive he has been about the situation. Nagy’s dismissiveness might come off as someone who’s hanging onto play-calling duties until the end of time. But I can’t help but think someone who isn’t Nagy is calling plays on Monday. Call it a hunch. Or call it reading the room. Either way, something is up.
• Seriously … it’s time for Nagy to put the sticks down:
Tennessee's game results since week 2. 34 allowed already tonight.
Bears had 3 points halfway through the 4th quarter before garbage time made it more respectable.
Chicago's offense is so terrible they made one of the worst defenses in the NFL look like the '85 Bears. pic.twitter.com/BeBRJ3afHr

• There is plenty of blame to go around when it comes to the Bears’ offense. But in the eyes of NFL analyst Chris Simms, Nagy should wear it more than GM Ryan Pace.
• The Colts put up an easy 34 points against a Titans outfit that stymied the Bears just four days prior. Watching Philip Rivers soft-toss his way to 308 passing yards, a 105.5 passer rating, and a 74 percent completion rate was maddening. This is what the Bears should’ve been doing. And it’s not as if opportunities weren’t available. But when you don’t take what the defense is giving you, then you might as well dig your own grave.
• Let this guy call plays, idc:
You guys are all being too mean to Nick Foles in Chicago. They have a terrible run game and they keep trying to run. Let Foles throw early and often.

• This is smart football:
the Colts entered with the 10th slowest pace of play on the season
but the Titans defense was on the field for 75 snaps against the Bears just 4 days ago, including 52 pass rushes
smart idea for the Colts to operate with tempo a fair amount in that first quarter

• I’m annoyed that the Bears made the Titans defense look good. Not as annoyed as fantasy football owners who picked up Tennessee’s D/ST after seeing what they did to Chicago. But annoyed, nevertheless.
• Speaking of defense, Roquan Smith is playing out of his mind:
Your weekly update for #Bears LB Roquan Smith:
• 82 tackles (T-4th in NFL)
• 12 TFL (T-2nd)
• 5 PBUs (T-2nd for off-ball LBs)
• 58.5 comp. % allowed (4th for LBs)
• 63.3 passer rating (6th for LBs)What a season he's had.
— Jacob Infante (@jacobinfante24) November 12, 2020
• Picking up the fifth-year option on Roquan Smith’s rookie deal this upcoming offseason looks easier with each passing week. The guy is on a roll!
• The Bears officially put defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris on season-ending IR, which is a total bummer.
• Good googly moogly:
Bears DC Chuck Pagano carefully tries to keep this presser G-rated by avoiding a curse word. Then, in case we aren't sure which one he means, he says, "You know, starts with S… ends with T…?" It's like a Sesame Street segment on profanities.

• Here’s to the Bears squashing those dreams:
Hall of fame running back Jerome Bettis on #Vikings RB Dalvin Cook going Monday against the rugged Bears defense: "It’s a huge test. But I’ll tell you, if he puts a beating on Chicago and runs up and down the field, I guarantee you he’s going to be in the conversation for MVP."
