Nick Foles needed to be pulled from the Soldier Field turf and carted to the locker room the last time the Bears played (Week 10). Since then, questions regarding who will start at quarterback have emerged.
And while mum’s the word from Head Coach Matt Nagy to this point, there’s a growing belief that Mitchell Trubisky will start on Sunday Night Football against the Packers:

Chicago Tribune reporter Brad Biggs thinks Trubisky will start on Sunday. Trubisky, who was benched for Foles after Week 3, is dealing with his own injury right now. An injury to his throwing shoulder that has kept him out since Week 9. However, Trubisky was throwing earlier in the week at practice.
And so health, not necessarily projected performance, might ultimately decide who gets the call to start Week 12:

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport hears that Trubisky is healthy enough to return to game action. Meanwhile, Rapoport also hears that Foles might not be healthy enough to practice. Put those two anecdotes together and it’s another sign that Trubisky is in line to start on Sunday. Let’s be real. Deciding now in order to give practice reps with the first-team offense to a guy who hasn’t had them in some time makes sense.
Even if both parties are healthy, the situation is a toss-up based on Foles’ play during the team’s four-game losing streak. But in the end, the decision at who starts at quarterback begins with figuring out who’s healthy. And as a reminder, the first injury report of the week drops later this afternoon.
