Losing the way the Bears did was tough. There’s no way for me to write around it. Especially since it is the second consecutive week in which the team has blown a 10-point lead.
But if it’s any consolation, the loss by Chicago’s football team won’t be the most embarrassingly painful one of the week. The New York Jets take the cake here.

What a run by Marcus Jones. But what a way to lose if you’re the Jets. It doesn’t get much more painful than that (unless we’re talking about it in the most literal sense).
So, yeah, Robert Saleh and that Jets team are going to be super ticked for next week’s matchup against the Bears. Losing is humbling, to be sure. But going on the road, holding the vaunted Bill Belichick’s team out of the end zone and limiting them to just three points for more than 59 minutes, and losing on an 80+ yard punt return is a kick to the junk. That one is as bad as it gets.
