Make yourself a huge pot of coffee or stock up on energy drinks because it’s Memorial Day weekend and quite possibly the greatest racing day of the year. F1 heads to Monoco, the Indianapolis 500 takes place, and NASCAR is set for its longest race of the season. I’m partial to stock cars, so let’s look at the early Coca-Cola 600 Odds and make some early bets as the Cup Series prepares to take on Charlotte Motor Speedway in the sport’s most grueling night of racing.
You can catch the Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte Motor Speedway on FOX with coverage beginning at 6 PM ET. FOX can be found on your cable or satellite TV channel lineup or with a subscription to FuboTV which also provides you with your favorite sports channels. *Check your local listings for channel lineup and availability.
Coca-Cola 600 Odds
Just like every other race on a 1.5-mile track on the schedule, Kyle Larson is your early-week favorite. But unlike any time previously, Larson is also scheduled to participate in the Indianapolis 500 on the same day. He’s trailed closely by Cup Series Champion co-favorite Denny Hamlin who sits at 6-1. With Tyler Reddick +800, and last season’s 600 winner Ryan Blaney +900, the other two drivers with Coca-Cola 600 odds in the single digits. Check out the entire outright odds board from DraftKings Sportsbook below.

Early 2024 Coca-Cola 600 Odds Bets
The Coca-Cola 600 is the longest race of the NASCAR Cup Series season and the only one with four stages. The longer distance separates the good and bad cars more dramatically while also heightening the likelihood of a driver wrecking or having issues that can ruin otherwise good bets. For this reason, I’m being very cautious with the Coca-Cola 600 odds I’m adding to my betting card, especially before seeing practice and qualifying. That said, here’s one bet I’m locking in now.
Michael McDowell Top 10 +500 (DraftKings)
If you have seen Michael McDowell’s race history at Charlotte, this bet might come as a bit of a surprise. You see, he has just ONE top-10 finish here over his 24 career starts and has actually finished on the lead lap just twice. Am I crazy to like these Coca-Cola 600 odds? Maybe so, but hear me out.
McDriver’s Charlotte top-10 came just 2 years ago, and he qualified 10th for that race as well. We didn’t get practice or qualifying last year, which really hurt the lower-echelon teams like Front Row. This season, McDowell has also become one of the best qualifiers in the Cup Series. He currently has the 11th-best average start at 13.1 bolstered by 2 poles and 7 top-10 starts.
Stock up on great NASCAR gear at Fanatics!
His off-the-hauler speed has shown up at all three similar-sized tracks of Las Vegas, Texas, and Kansas where his worst qualifying effort is 13th. Michael has just one top-10 at these tracks, (Kansas – 10th), but was also speedy at Texas before wrecking.
This bet may never have a chance at cashing once we get to Sunday, but these odds won’t be there after P&Q if the 34 team unloads like they have been doing all season. And at this point in the week, I’m hunting Coca-Cola 600 odds that present potential value before cars hit the track.
