What on earth are we going to do on Sunday evening? The Blackhawks are coming off a huge win against the Florida Panthers — last night. The Devils’ gear was all in the hallways in the bowels of the United Center before the morning skate yesterday because they were coming in banged up. Neither team held a morning skate on Sunday. But the Blackhawks should feel great about their performance less than 24 hours ago.
Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson said after Saturday night’s game that he doesn’t want these great performance to always be after an ugly loss. He wants his team to get on a roll and rattle off a few in a row… and they’ve got a great chance to take advantage of a Devils team that’s got a few of their most important players hurting right now. Sometimes it’s about when you play a team, and this lines up for the Blackhawks to hopefully stay on the right track and get another strong win.
