The Blackhawks are a hot mess right now. With all of the noise in the background regarding the Corey Perry situation, the loss of Taylor Hall for the rest of the season and how ugly the current losing streak has been, will the boys show up and put out a great effort for their home fans in an Original Six matinee?
The Maple Leafs are doing with some of their own health issues. They’ve been streaky this year, perhaps best made obvious by their current four-game win streak improving them to 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. There are lots of guys on the visitor’s room today who were once Blackhawks, so we’ll see how comfortable they are coming back to the United Center.
And this is a 1 PM CT start on Black Friday. Yippee for holiday weekend hockey! Let’s get it!
