We’ve heard general manager Kyle Davidson talk a great deal about wanting character in the room and building with players who play the game the right way on and off the ice. There are 9 players currently with a professional contract who have worn a C or an A at some point in their career. Three have worn a letter for their country in international competition. And one more, James — who has missed most of this season as an assistant captain because of injury — may sign at some point.
