On Thursday, the NHL named the three finalists for the Masterton Trophy. Carolina netminder Frederik Andersen, Arizona (Utah) goaltender Connor Ingram and Calgary defenseman Oliver Kylington are the three finalists. As a reminder, Colin Blackwell was the Blackhawks’ nominee.
First awarded in 1967-68, the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy is presented annually “to the player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.”
