I don’t care if it’s the wrong sport … I’VE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR SUNDAY NIGHT!
Honestly, I can’t believe it’s been only a week since the last two episodes. Part of me loves the fact that they’re spacing these things out so I have something to look forward to during the week. However, the other part of me just wants to throw a brick through ESPN’s window with a threatening note that reads “release all the episodes now … or else.” Ya know, normal stuff.
Anyway, our first two episodes set the stage beautifully. Michael Jordan and Co. are our superheroes, and they’re all battling arch-nemesis Jerry Krause (and, to an extent, Jerry Reinsdorf). For an organization that’s already won five championships, the atmosphere is incredibly unstable. Yet, despite the numerous obstacles standing in their way, the talent and drive of this roster is too powerful. These guys are ready to win another championship … no matter the cost.
As far as I know, tonight will cover The Shot, the Bad Boy Pistons, Dennis Rodman, and the MJ-Phil relationship. I can’t wait.

• NBC Sports Chicago’s K.C. Johnson will share bits and pieces from the late Jerry Krause’s unpublished memoir. I’m sure we’ll only continue to learn more about Krause’s role in both the Bulls’ rise to greatness and fall from grace, so this will be worth keeping an eye on. Perhaps these old words will help tell his side of the story.
