The 2021 NBA Trade Deadline Tracker (Updates Aplenty)

One of the craziest days of the NBA season has officially arrived. The 2021 NBA Trade Deadline is set for 2:00 p.m. CT today, which means that over the course of the next several hours we should get a handful of deals and rumors as teams scrap to find upgrades for a potential playoff push.

Are the Chicago Bulls going to be one of those teams? Buying or selling? I guess we’ll know soon enough.

We will update this post throughout the day with all of the deals, so if you need a one-stop-shop, leave the page open on your phone/laptop/tablet and just hit that refresher. See ya on the other side!

•   Things kind of tipped-off last night with a small deal between the Pistons and Kings. Delon Wright will head over to Sacramento as Detroit continues its rebuilding project.

•   A center domino has fallen. JaVale McGee was expected to be a sough-out big man option for contending teams.

•   Heads up: The Magic are expected to be busy today, so keep an eye out.

•   OH, OK, LET’S GO:

•   Bulls swapped bench guys with the Wizards (and came out on top IMO).

•   Nuggets swung big and landed another former-Magic.

•   The 76ers added veteran point guard George Hill, which almost surely takes them out of the running for the Raptors Kyle Lowry. Knicks also get some assets in the process.

•   Portland gets one of the deadline’s more interesting pieces, and traded Gary Trent Jr. to the Raptors in the process (who the Bulls were briefly attached to).

•   Miami did a thing. Whatever.

•   Old friend Rajon Rondo is heading to the Clippers for Lou Williams and two future second-round picks. This will be Rondo’s eighth team in his 15-year-career.

•   We’re getting awfully close to the deadline, but things are still happening. For example, Toronto is trading guard Terrence Davis to the Kings for a future second round pick. The move opens another roster spot for Raptors in case of a potential Kyle Lowry trade.

•   Uh, hello. The deadline is technically over, but deals can still trickle out. It happens every year.

•   Miami got their guy.

•   I can’t believe he is staying. Toronto had some big-time offers.
