The Cubs will get a chance to win a third straight game, and another series, tonight when they face the Braves. Adrian Cardenas gets his first start at second base (though he’s buried in the 8-hole – let’s see that patience, eh, Adrian?).
Ryan Dempster goes for the Cubs, looking to maintain his league-best 0.95 ERA, and he faces one of those many, many vaunted young Braves pitchers. Randall Delgado is/was a big-time prospect, but he hasn’t been able to show it as a starter this year. He’s still just 22, though.
Tonight’s game is on WGN, so everyone (well, almost everyone) should be watching!
