Brett Jackson and Josh Vitters are with the Cubs, but only Jackson is starting today. I wouldn’t read much into that, though, as the Iowa Cubs played pretty late last night. Could be any number of reasons Vitters isn’t starting today. He will be come tomorrow.
The lineup is pretty interesting with Jackson in it. He slots into the second spot, with Starlin Castro moving all the way down to fifth. I’m not sure I like that, long-term, but, for now, I suppose it makes some sense.
