Jason Heyward gets the leadoff shot again, and is still in search of that ever-elusive first spring hit. It’s coming. I can feel it …
Anthony Rizzo is out again (he was scratched Thursday with back tightness), which still doesn’t quite concern me. Talk to me next week. Well, hopefully you have no reason to talk to me about this next week.
Kyle Schwarber slides down to the cleanup spot with Heyward leading off and Rizzo out, but I still expect that he’s your primary leadoff man to open to the season.
Jeimer Candelario gets a little work at first base in place of Rizzo, and Matt Szczur draws another start in the outfield.
The game is at 2pm CT, and we’ll have your full Pre-Gamin’ closer to game time.
