One of those homers was hit by second baseman Jared Young, a 15th round pick last summer out of Old Dominion who, as of now, has a line of .533/.611/1.067 with three doubles, a triple, a homer, three walks, and four strikeouts. I have to think he is the early favorite for organizational Player of the Month for April.

Duane Underwood pitched well early in his relief stint for Iowa, but ran into some trouble in his final inning. Depite that final frame, the results were encouraging.
