Not minutes after I clicked publish on Albert Almora’s lead-grabbing two-run homer, the Braves had already answered back with a Tyler Flowers home run in the top of the third.
But just a half-inning later, Kris Bryant put the Cubs back on top with his eighth homer of the season and sixth in May, alone.

Bryant’s homer traveled 386 feet, left the bat at 102 MPH, and had a launch angle of 28 degrees. He’s now slashing .288/.423/.600 on the year, with eight homers and a 173 wRC+.
