But Hamels couldn’t quite hold the Nationals down, and then Steve Cishek and Justin Wilson couldn’t the Cubs’ then-thin lead. Right guys in the right spots, wrong outcome. Bryce Harper, man. That guy.
When you consider how the Cubs chose to line up the day for the doubleheader, it stings all the more to see them blow a big lead. Bad, bad loss.
