When Braves pitcher Mike Soroka stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the third inning tonight, he was making a very modest proposal. He would provide one free out (by way of a sac bunt) in exchange for safe passage from first to second base for Johan Camargo. Since there was already an out in the inning, he felt like this was a more than generous offer. And I think most would agree.
After all, the Padres did. In fact, they thought it was such a good deal, they gifted a free trip around the bases for Camargo and a little league triple for Soroka. And they didn’t even ask for an out in return! How nice!

Like the Tweet says … it’s just how they drew it up.
The Braves wound up winning 3-1.
