The Chicago Cubs need a win tonight to avoid dropping three games in a row and they’ll have to do it against one of the toughest pitchers in baseball, Max Scherzer.
However, as we explored earlier, Scherzer actually struggles quite a bit against left-handed hitting and he’ll have four lefties (plus great hitters like Kris Bryant, Javy Baez, and Willson Contreras) to get through tonight. Let’s see if they can get back on track and give themselves a better shot at another series win. Go Cubs.
