You fine folks have graciously been donating to Make-A-Wish to support their efforts to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. You’ve also selfishly been donating so that you can see me lose my mind amidst crazy rumor coverage at this year’s Trade Deadline for the BN Blogathon.
That’s because I’ve offered to blog for 24 hours straight at the deadline this year, and, if you donate $6,000 to Make-A-Wish – enough to sponsor one child’s wish – I’ll bump that up to 30 hours.
We’re a week into fundraising, and you’ve already got us halfway to that first tier goal!
That is an incredible start, and it brings me great joy to say: please deprive me of sleep! Get us to $6,000 to lock in 30 hours of straight coverage at the deadline on July 30 and 31. And we can help make more great memories for Cubs fans who need it most:
We're raising money this month for @MakeAWish @WishIllinois so that kids like Erik can do things like this. @Cubs #BNBlogathon
