The Cubs won game one last night on the strength of yet another dominant Yu Darvish start. Today, however, the Cubs have Adbert Alzolay starting game 2 (game 1 of the double-header) in just his second big league start of the season. He was great against the Cardinals in his first and only start of the year, but now the Cardinals will have the benefit of having seen him recently.
The Cubs by contrast will get the 39-year-old Adam Wainwright, whom they’ve seen plenty of times over the last like … 100 years.
