While we’re waiting on the big league Cubs to get their night game underway, the Iowa Cubs are playing in Louisville, where Jared Young and Brennen Davis just went off.
The two power prospects at Iowa just showed off that power, back-to-back style:

For Young, that is already his 5th homer on the year, as he continues his incredible power surge this year at Triple-A. He had actually already homered once in the game. Dude is just on so much fire. For Davis, it was homer number two, and much-needed after a bit of a slump.
Meanwhile, there’s an old friend in that game patrolling center field for the Bats:
Albert Almora is unreal 😳 pic.twitter.com/KdR7f4i5cB

Almora, 28, is playing at Triple-A in the Reds organization after signing a minor league deal in the offseason. He only just arrived at Triple-A after (it looks like?) being slowed in Spring Training before starting his season initially at High-A.
