The Myrtle Beach Pelicans Just Threw a No-Hitter!

I made light of the New York Mets’ combined no-hitter, but I won’t be doing the same for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, both because I’m a homer and because minor league no-hitters basically HAVE to be combined!

Tonight the Chicago Cubs’ Low-A affiliate Myrtle Beach Pelicans combined to no-hit the Low-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals:

Walker Powell (5.0 IP, 0 BB, 6 K), Adam Laskey (2.0 IP, 1 BB, 1K), and Jake Reindl (2.0 IP, 0 BB, 4 K) combined for the no-no, and everyone gets to party tonight. Reindl was PUMPED right there!
