Jason Heyward Just Saved Kyle Hendricks’ Outing with a Beautiful Diving Catch in Center Field

At this point, there’s nothing Jason Heyward can do to change my mind about his future with the Cubs, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get the credit for doing something awesome. And tonight, he did something awesome.

With two outs, a runner on base, and Kyle Hendricks’ sterling outing on the line, Heyward made a really fantastic diving play in center field.

That got Hendricks out of the inning without any further damage and was just plain old impressive. Great catch, dude.
