Just an interesting series of events in tonight’s World Series Game Three.
First, you had Bryce Harper CRUSHING a home run off of Lance McCullers Jr.:
Soon after, Harper had something to share with Alec Bohm in private:
And on the very first pitch Bohm saw after that, he hit a home run:
Like the end of ‘Lost in Translation,’ everyone wondered what exactly Harper said. Bohm was asked about that whisper from Harper, and his response – while humorous – definitely sounded like a dude who’d been given a tip:
It seems pretty obvious what folks were wondering – especially after Brandon Marsh also homered – and former big leaguer Will Middlebrooks said it:
That’s wild if true – for it to happen in the World Series – and I can’t say it isn’t also some sweet justice, happening against the Astros, who tried to claim that Yu Darvish was tipping pitches in the World Series when they lit him up because of the sign-stealing scandal …
