Seiya Suzuki is Ready to Recruit Shohei Ohtani to the Chicago Cubs

Make it happen, Seiya. I’m begging you. We’re all begging you.

Shohei Ohtani, Chicago Cub 2024:

Ohtani, a free agent after this season, is going to command an absolutely monster deal as one of the most valuable players in baseball, a singularly talented two-way player, and a marketing department’s dream. I don’t know if the Cubs will be involved or not. Realistically.

But, in the meantime, Ohtani is off to play for Team Japan in the World Baseball Classic, where Seiya Suzuki will be one of his teammates.

May he have wonderful things to say about his first year with the Cubs, and the success on the horizon …
