Cubs Shortstop Prospect Cristian Hernández Hits a Grand Slam for the Pelicans

I thought you might like a palate cleanser after the big league Cubs got stomped today.

So enjoy Cubs shortstop prospect Cristian Hernández hitting a grand slam for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans this evening:

Hernández, 19, was the Cubs’ top IFA signing a couple years ago, and projects as a hard-hitting shortstop prospect as he climbs the ladder. He started out quite hot this year at Low-A, his first full-season assignment, but has fallen back a bit of late. Hopefully the grand slam sparks something.
