Crooked numbers! Haven’t been enough of those this year for the Cubs, but I loved seeing a four spot go up so early tonight against the Angels.
In the second inning, the Cubs sent eight guys to the plate, with half of them scoring. The first two came in on a Mike Tauchman single:

And then the second two came on a Matt Mervis double, at the end of a seven-pitch at bat:
